On the 19th of September in Skolivski Beskydy National Park (Lviv oblast, Ukraine) tree planting was organized by CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine.
The purpose of the action was to draw attention to the ecological issues of the Carpathian Mountains, contribute to the reforestation of the area, which is suffering from illegal tree cutting and other threats. The three PBU projects associated with this area, i.e. Protect_Nature, MichaelandYouth, MountainTaste took an active part in the event. Young people from Skole and other volunteers have planted 30 trees to commemorate European cooperation in the borderland on the three countries. Tree planting was followed by the treat in traditional Boyko style, music and common singing.
